welcome to ABG Speech Therapy!

If you are looking for ways to help your child learn to talk or say their sounds and words correctly or your child is stuttering, you are in the right place. I work with babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children.

I have spent close to a decade working with children and their families. In 2019, I began using Instagram to empower parents with the tools to get their child talking and communicating.

Parents play an integral part in supporting their child’s speech and language development. During the early years, children spend more time at home than anywhere else. If parents can learn ways to facilitate speech and language at home, it can really make a huge difference. After all, the first 5 years of a child’s life are crucial for their overall development.

It is not about doing more. It is about being intentional and purposeful during the times that you engage with your child. Whether it is reading, singing, playing or just talking to your child, you can make a long lasting impact. More is not always better. Parenting is hard, but teaching your child to talk doesn’t have to be. My mission is to share evidenced based tips that are easy and quick to implement into your daily routines. Who really needs more items on their to do list?
