Recipient of ASHA ACE award
Amanda (Karas) Gerson was a recipient of an ACE award from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA). ACE awards are given to recognize professional who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning 70 hours of professional development within a 36-month period.
Amanda (Karas) Gerson is trained in Reading with TLC. She utilizes the Lively Letters and Sight Words You Can See, Orton-Gillingham based programs that promote literacy development in children of all ages. Lively Letters is a multi-sensory program that is successful in teaching children letter sounds and how to read.
