You can teach your toddler to talk while opening presents/packages.

𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 are everywhere. No matter what you are doing or where you are there are plenty of opportunities for your child to learn to talk.

You may not be opening 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 every day but if your house is anything like mine... Amazon, UPS and Fedex deliveries are constantly arriving.

5 WORDS TO FOCUS ON WHEN OPENING PRESENTS OR BOXES
1. Say β€œOPEN” as you open the box. 2. Say β€œSHAKE” as you shake the box. 3. Say β€œOOO” as you take the items out of the box. 4. Say β€œAHHH” as you take the items out of the box. 5. Say β€œWOW” as you take the items out of the box.

Exaggerate your words by saying them a little 𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒓 and π’”π’π’π’˜π’†π’“.

It is okay if your child does not say the words.

Children imitate what they see and hear.

They need several repetitions and exposures to the words or sounds before they start to use them.
